Air feels clean
Sky gets darker
As the sun rises
The deep slate blue
Clouds fill the sky
The air seems to sparkle
Full of Power
Then the rain comes
Slow then faster
Lightning turns
The dark day bright
Thunder shakes
The ground
Rain pelts my skin
Stinging as it falls
The wind whips my hair
Clinging damply to my face
Storm rushes around me
I feel alive
In the power
Of the storm

Clouds grow darker
Wind goes still
Lightning flashes
Thunder crashes
Wind picks up
Leaves blow by
Lightning flashes
Thunder crashes
Sky turns dark
Rain falls lightly
Lightning flashes
Thunder crashes
Wind grows sharper
Rain falls harder
Lightning flashes
Thunder crashes
Rain pelts
Sometimes hail
Lightning flashes
Thunder crashes
Then it goes the other way
Rain and sky growing lighter
Lightning flashes
Thunder crashes

Darkness shines
Through my window tonight.
This may seem strange,
But you see,
The darkness clothes me
In a pearly softness
And only the stars
And the waning crescent moon
Show through.
And darkness shines
Through my window tonight

I fall asleep
And dream.
The sun is streaming
Through my window,
Blinding me in it’s radiance.
It makes me wish
For the darkness of night
That is only a daydream
And never real.
I wake up in darkness,
And am comforted,
Knowing it was only
A nightmare.

Clothed in Darkness, Shrouded in Light,
Moon skims the sky, Forever in flight.
Cloked in Shadow, Exceedingly bright,
Puts on a show, Glorious sight.
Deep in the Darkness, Glowing and White,
Moon travels slowly, Night after night.
Hidden in shadow, Fallen from height,
Leaves as a view, Morning sunlight.
